The PDX50 all-touch computer combines the familiar experience of a modern smartphone with the durability, barcode-scanning performance, and connectivity required for demanding environments. Its slim, all-touch design makes it easy to carry and comfortable to use throughout the workday, whether employees are receiving inventory, picking orders, managing assets, or assisting customers.
Featuring a large 6-inch Full HD display, integrated barcode scanner, 5G connectivity, and Wi-Fi 6E, the PDX50 gives workers fast access to the applications and information they need. Its rugged construction and long-lasting battery make it a reliable choice for warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and retail applications.
A Large Display for Information-Rich Applications
The PDX50 features a spacious 6-inch Full HD touchscreen with 1080 × 2160 resolution. The larger viewing area gives users more room to work with browser-based ERP and WMS platforms and other mobile applications with information-rich content.
With 600-nit brightness and durable Gorilla® Glass, the display delivers excellent visibility while standing up to the demands of daily use. Wet-touch and glove support help employees remain productive in a variety of working conditions.
Performance That Keeps Work Moving
Powered by the Qualcomm® QCM4490 octa-core processor, the PDX50 full-touch mobile computer delivers processing speeds of up to 2.4 GHz. With 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, it has the performance and capacity needed to run modern enterprise applications, manage large amounts of data, and support demanding mobile workflows.
The PDX50 runs Android™ 14, providing a modern operating environment for today’s applications while giving organizations a platform designed for long-term enterprise deployments.
Connected Anywhere Work Takes You
The PDX50 handheld mobile computer is designed to keep workers connected inside the facility and out in the field. Wi-Fi 6E provides fast, reliable performance on modern wireless networks while maintaining compatibility with existing infrastructure.
For applications that extend beyond the reach of Wi-Fi, the PDX50 supports LTE and 5G cellular connectivity. Support for CBRS and private 5G networks also gives organizations greater flexibility when building secure wireless networks across warehouses, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers.
Bluetooth® 5.2, NFC, and integrated GPS provide additional connectivity for wireless accessories, contactless data exchange, asset tracking, navigation, and other mobile applications.
Fast, Reliable Barcode Data Capture
An integrated 2D barcode scanner allows employees to quickly capture the information needed to complete everyday tasks. From receiving, putaway, picking to shipping, the PDX50 provides dependable barcode data capture to track your entire workflow. Dedicated scan buttons on both sides of the device make barcode capture convenient for right- or left-handed users. An additional programmable button can be configured around the needs of the application or workflow.
Built for Demanding Workdays
Despite its slim profile and light weight, the PDX50 is designed for demanding commercial and industrial environments. It is rated to withstand six-foot drops and up to 1,000 tumbles. IP65 and IP68 sealing protects the device against dust and water exposure. The PDX50 can operate in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 122°F, making it suitable for a broad range of indoor and outdoor applications.
More Ways to Capture and Share Information
In addition to barcode scanning, the PDX50 includes a 16-megapixel rear camera with flash and an 8-megapixel front camera. Employees can document damaged inventory, record proof of condition, capture delivery information, and provide additional context that a barcode alone cannot communicate. A built-in speaker, dual microphones, vibration motor, and extensive collection of sensors further expand the PDX50’s capabilities across warehouse, retail, logistics, and other enterprise mobility applications.
Modern Mobility Without Sacrificing Durability
The PDX50 gives organizations the flexibility of an all-touch mobile computer without relying on a consumer-grade smartphone. It combines a large display, powerful processing, reliable barcode scanning, advanced wireless connectivity, and rugged construction in one compact device.
Whether employees are working on the warehouse floor, assisting customers in a retail store, completing deliveries, servicing equipment, or collecting data in the field, the PDX50 provides the performance and versatility needed to keep work moving.
Built-in Software for Fast Deployment
The PDX50 comes preloaded with AML software applications designed to simplify device deployment, barcode scanning, and everyday data collection. AML Setup allows administrators to configure devices quickly by scanning setup barcodes, while AML Lockdown helps prevent unauthorized access to applications and system settings. AML Barcode Service gives users greater control over scanner behavior and captured barcode data.

Standard Factory Warranty
AML products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The obligation of AML under the Standard Factory Warranty is limited to furnishing labor and materials necessary to return the product to its normal operating condition, or to replace the unit, at AML’s discretion, and only on a “to factory” basis. This limited warranty does not extend to any product which has been modified, misused, abused, or incorrectly installed.
Extended Warranty Plus
An Extended Warranty Plus may be purchased for eligible products, as denoted on the product warranty chart below. An Extended Warranty Plus REPLACES the standard limited warranty, and provides for the following additional benefits.
- Covers the failure of internal components as a result of normal wear and tear.
- Covers failure of external components regardless of fault. Generally this includes the case, LCD displays, keypads, overlays, lenses, and exposed connectors.
Note: This does not include the replacement of internal components as a result of abuse or excessive wear and tear. Printed circuit boards, scan engines, and other electronic assemblies are not covered if they are physically damaged. - Covers firmware upgrades.
- Four (4) business-day turnaround, excluding time in transit, when RMA number is properly marked on the outside of the box.
- Standard return freight (FedEx ground) included.
The Extended Warranty Plus may be purchased anytime during the term of the standard limited warranty. The Extended Warranty Plus is not an extension of the standard warranty, but instead replaces it. The start date of the Extended Warranty Plus is the start date of the original warranty. Note that the Extended Warranty Plus does not cover products that have been subjected to improper installation, or that have been modified or used for purposes other than what they were intended.
Android OS Statement
Today’s consumer devices are typically only supported for 2-3 years from date of release. While the typical life expectancy for industrial equipment is 5+ years, AML historically exceeds this mark substantially, although no guaranteed life span is made or implied due to the litany of outside factors that can impact a product’s life cycle. At a minimum, AML is committed to maintaining the Striker’s OS firmware for as long as the product is kept in production. This includes periodic updates for critical CVEs (Common Vulnerability and Exposures) that are applicable per the Android Security Bulletins. AML also extends that support beyond Android’s updates if their support ends early by manually patching critical vulnerabilities as necessary.
