Users can modify the existing DC Suite applications or create their own from scratch. No programming knowledge is required. Within a matter of minutes, even the novice user can be modifying or writing their own DC Suite applications. DC Console can also act as the communications tool when sending and receiving files to and from the AML mobile computer. But for administrators who do not want to expose the editing and program generation capabilities of DC Console to their users, the DC Sync utility can be installed instead to perform the communications handling. DC Sync is a communications utility that facilitates the transfer of data over the USB port for the LDX10 and the TDX20, or the Wi-Fi network for the TDX20, Striker, and Scepter.
Use DC Sync on computers where administrators do not want to give the full editing capability of DC Console available to all users.

DC Suite™ barcode data collection software makes it easier than ever before to collect data whenever and wherever you need it. It’s easy-to-use, extremely flexible, and comes free with most AML mobile computers. Many common data collection tasks can be accomplished by using one of seven pre-written DC Suite applications. However, modifying existing applications or writing completely new ones from scratch is easy with DC Suite’s program generator, DC Console.
Typical tasks completed with DC Suite include taking cycle counts, tracing lot codes, tracking assets, or checking tools in or out. Scan barcodes and key in relevant data into a DC Suite application, then upload the data into spreadsheets, accounting software, or ERP systems for immediate access.
The combination of DC Suite with an AML Mobile Computer is an unbeatable value. Competitive software packages can cost thousands of dollars or be burdened with monthly subscriptions that never end. DC Suite costs nothing and comes preloaded on American-Made mobile computers from AML.
DC Suite software includes seven pre-written applications to accommodate the most common barcode data collection tasks, making it ready to go to work right out of the box. It is preloaded on the Striker and Solo mobile computers. Optionally, it can be installed on the Scepter enterprise mobile computer as well.
Collected data can be easily uploaded to any Windows® PC using a USB cable, or data can be transferred over a Wi-Fi network on Wi-Fi enabled devices such as the Striker or TDX20.

Asset tracking application that attaches the asset ID number to the asset location. “Lock” the location ID for scanning multiple items in one location. Use DC Console to add additional fields such as users, condition, etc.

Check-In/Out application for tool cribs, equipment rooms, or any environment where items might be checked out and back in again.
Compare
Compare 2 scans and confirm that they are the same OR are in fact, NOT the same.
Item Count
Simple one-field scanning where the items are unique. Use DC Console to add a “look up” table to retrieve additional information such as a description, a location, or a cost.

Ideal for tracking the quantity of an item as part of a specific batch. Scan the item Number, collect Lot Number and Quantity information.

DC Uplink allows the Scepter and Striker to transmit and receive DC Suite files over a Wi-Fi network, as opposed to using a USB connection. It can be used on all three units but requires a license to activate.
The Scepter and Striker are already pre-licensed. If the DC Uplink icon on the screen is grayed-out, its license has not been activated.
The data is “batched” or transmitted in file format and either DC Sync 3.X or DC Console 3.X must be running on the receiving computer.
