The Monarch+ Interactive Kiosk Brings the Power of Information to the Fingertips
The Monarch+ combines the power of an all-in-one computer with a barcode-scanning kiosk. Developed as a built-for-
purpose device engineered with industrial-grade components, the Monarch+ is an enterprise self-service kiosk that outlasts and outperforms consumer-grade devices deployed in challenging environments. Utilizing x86-64 architecture, the Monarch+ runs the Windows 10 operating system.
The sleek design and capacitive touchscreen help facilitate an intuitive experience for any user. Power can be supplied over a PoE+ equipped network, eliminating the restriction of having to place the device near a wall outlet.

Retail
The Monarch+ enterprise self-service kiosk brings the digital experience into the store, putting information at the immediate disposal of the consumer. Allowing the user to verify a price is easily done when the Monarch+ is running AML’s StoreScan™ software. Other useful applications include being able to check the balance on a gift card, locate a product in the store, check loyalty points, or even make a purchase. The list goes on and on as to what the Monarch+ can do to bridge the gap between the in-store visit and the omni-channel experience.
Commercial
Taking advantage of its x86-64 architecture, the Monarch+ makes the perfect time clock for more advanced applications where employee messaging is essential. It’s ideal for any check-in/check-out application like tool cribs and file rooms. It also makes the ideal way-finder for a busy lobby or a self-service kiosk for rental agreements and employment applications. Need a self-check-in portal for a day care, health club, or seminar? There’s no better small form-factor all-in-one device than the Monarch+.
Hospitality
The Monarch+’s small form-factor and PoE+ capability make it ideal for deploying multiple devices across large venues. Using PCs and tablets on a shop floor is a recipe for disaster. But the Monarch+ enterprise self-service kiosk is designed to be safely mounted on a wall, pole or table. From there it can act as a time clock or host software for tracking labor or work-in-process inventory.

Price Checking
Self-service applications are becoming a fact of everyday life. Kiosks provide a better customer experience with the ability to check the price of an item more conveniently than tracking down a store associate. In some states, retail stores are required to use kiosk devices that are compliant with item pricing laws.
Employee Portal
Allow employees to access information regarding their benefits, request time off, or even clock in or out of the payroll system. Input methods may be on-screen keyboard, barcode scan, magnetic strip, or RFID card.

Printer & Adjustable Angle Mount

The Monarch+ printer accessory attaches quickly and easily to the back of the Monarch+ and prints on 58mm wide receipt paper or linerless labels. The mounting bracket is adjustable to customize the angle required.
EMV Chip & Magstripe Reader Kit

Adjustable Angle Mounting Bracket

WARRANTIES
Standard Factory Warranty
AML products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The obligation of AML under the Standard Factory Warranty is limited to furnishing labor and materials necessary to return the product to its normal operating condition, or to replace the unit, at AML’s discretion, and only on a “to factory” basis. This limited warranty does not extend to any product which has been modified, misused, abused, or incorrectly installed.
Extended Warranty Plus
An Extended Warranty Plus may be purchased for eligible products, as denoted on the product warranty chart below. An Extended Warranty Plus REPLACES the standard limited warranty, and provides for the following additional benefits.
- Covers the failure of internal components as a result of normal wear and tear.
- Covers failure of external components regardless of fault. Generally this includes the case, LCD displays, keypads, overlays, lenses, and exposed connectors.
Note: This does not include the replacement of internal components as a result of abuse or excessive wear and tear. Printed circuit boards, scan engines, and other electronic assemblies are not covered if they are physically damaged. - Covers firmware upgrades.
- Four (4) business-day turnaround, excluding time in transit, when RMA number is properly marked on the outside of the box.
- Standard return freight (FedEx ground) included.
The Extended Warranty Plus may be purchased anytime during the term of the standard limited warranty. The Extended Warranty Plus is not an extension of the standard warranty, but instead replaces it. The start date of the Extended Warranty Plus is the start date of the original warranty. Note that the Extended Warranty Plus does not cover products that have been subjected to improper installation, or that have been modified or used for purposes other than what they were intended.
Android OS Statement
Today’s consumer devices are typically only supported for 2-3 years from date of release. While the typical life expectancy for industrial equipment is 5+ years, AML historically exceeds this mark substantially, although no guaranteed life span is made or implied due to the litany of outside factors that can impact a product’s life cycle. At a minimum, AML is committed to maintaining the Striker’s OS firmware for as long as the product is kept in production. This includes periodic updates for critical CVEs (Common Vulnerability and Exposures) that are applicable per the Android Security Bulletins. AML also extends that support beyond Android’s updates if their support ends early by manually patching critical vulnerabilities as necessary.
