AML’s web-based, mobile device management application gives administrators the ability to manage AML Android-based mobile computers remotely.
AML Device Manager is a mobile device management (MDM) web-based application that works in conjunction with AML Setup, a client-side application available on AML Android mobile computers. AML Device Manager must first be licensed to unlock the device monitoring and management features of AML Setup. Once activated, AML Device Manager can be used to create one or more configurations that control the device settings of the mobile computer. Network Administrators can also observe the performance of the devices, update the firmware, and literally take remote control of the device if needed for support purposes. A “Find my Device” feature assists users with locating misplaced devices. Other accessible applications such as AML Lockdown enable Admins to secure the device and limit user access to specific tasks.
