Brake Manufacturer Upgrades to Android Mobile Computers

Knott Brake Company reached out to AML to demo our current high performance industrial mobile computers to replace their old equipment. As a hardware partner of WiSys, compatibility with the AML Scepter devices was seamless. The AML Scepter is an Android-based wireless mobile computer designed for high performance scanning, durability in tough environments, and comes preloaded with valuable software applications to ease deployment and ongoing management. After comparing the new devices to their legacy equipment, the manufacturer ultimately decided to move forward by starting a rollout of AML mobile computers.

“We chose the AML scanners for a variety of reasons. Price was one consideration but also features and the fact that these units are USA made played a role in the decision. Upon receipt and use of the AML scanner all feedback has been positive. The units are lighter than the older units, the screens are larger, and the camera option has been available yet not currently implemented,” Fresh said.
