Business Development Manager

AML is currently seeking Business Development Managers with experience in B2B selling into commercial and industrial applications. Barcodes are used everywhere and we manufacture the products that scan them.  Given the proliferation of barcode usage, there are very few commercial operations that are not a potential prospect for our products.   Learn more about our company and our products at www.amltd.com.   Since 1983, AML has been designing and manufacturing barcode-centric products such as rugged mobile computers and stationary kiosks, and we produce the only Made-In-America products in our industry.

The position involves identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, and then nurturing those opportunities through to a successful sale.  A “hunter” mentality with exceptional people skills will do well in this position.  These are typically high-dollar sales with medium-to-long sales cycles so the ability to build and nurture a pipeline is essential.  The reward is an aggressive, uncapped commission plan that can put a driven salesperson well into six figures once they are established.

High energy, self-starting, financially motivated, and ready-to-work are the prerequisites. We operate in a very entrepreneurial mode. You will be trained and given all the tools and support you need.  Your work ethic and professional sales skills will drive you to success.  The position can be based anywhere in the continental U.S., but periodic travel may be required so proximity to a major airport is desirable.

Our products are designed to be installed on wireless networks and work in conjunction with our customer’s software systems.  A fundamentally good technical aptitude with the ability to learn is absolutely essential.
