AML Launches the New M7225 Handheld Computer

The all new M7225 is a richly featured, industrially rated, wireless handheld computer designed for use in retail, manufacturing, and warehouse data capture applications. It's durable enough for harsh or challenging environments, but lightweight and compact enough to be used in retail and other commercial applications. Powered by Windows® CE 6.0, the M7225 is available with various radio options, laser or 2D imager barcode scan engines, 3.5" high-color LCD with touch panel, and full audio support. For virtually any barcode data collection application, the M7225 is the sensible solution.

Weighing in at just 17.6 ounces (500 grams) the M7225 is light enough to be used all day without fatigue, but durable enough to be put to work in almost any environment. It's full alphanumeric keypad eliminates the need for "cell phone double-keying", keeping mistakes to a minimum and productivity high. In addition, its OnScreen Scan Verification system makes it easy for users to distinguish between good barcode scans or bad/no scans. Variants are available with and without a pistol grip handle.

A unique feature of the M7225 is that it uses the same charging cradles and battery system as other AML products. This feature allows existing AML users to upgrade to the M7225 without having to buy new charging cradles, saving a substantial amount of upfront investment.

Accessories include single-position charging cradle, single-position communications cradle, four-position terminal charger, four-position battery charger, vehicle mounted charger, and holster.
