After firmware updates, it is always a good idea to CLEAN boot any Windows CE device. This ensures that all old settings and registry keys that may not be compatible with the new firmware are removed. Furthermore, it forces the re-installation of all third party software pre-loaded by AML (Stay-Linked, SofToGo, Summit Client Utility, etc...) that may have been updated to a newer version.
