Global Variables

Global variables are variables that persist between screens.


Click on Insert, Global Variable

These are useful for storing data that must be accessed from scripts in more than one screen.


Once you have inserted a global variable, you will be prompted to rename the global variable.


Now you will be able to use this variable to keep data as you move between scripts and screens.

It can now also be used as part of Screen Field Operations, Lookup File Operations, Capture File Operations, Mathematic Operations, Date/Time Operations and Test/Branching Operations.
