Creating and Editing Programs

An M5900 program is made up of the following:

Data Files
Menus
Screens with Fields
Global Variables

In order to help manage the items in your program, the items will be listed in a Tree View on the left hand side of the Program Generator. You can navigate directly to any of these items by clicking on the item in the Tree View.

The Screens and Menus in your program will be displayed in the order they are listed in the Tree View, and Fields will be located to in the order they are listed under their parent Screen.

Changing Screen Order, like Changing Field Order is easy. Simply click on the the screen or field in the Tree View and drag it to the desired position.
