Getting Data from the M5900

Select Tools, Get capture data from M5900

or press the Download capture files... button 
You will get the following Dialog Box:

If your M5900 has been configured for Auto Download and the program you wish to send is currently running, press the OK button.
Otherwise:
If you have not configured your M5900 for Auto Download (or the program you wish to send is not currently running), you need to do the following:




Select the name of the program that created the Capture file to be downloaded to the PC:



Now you can press the OK button on your PC.
Your progam is being sent to the M5900!
If you can not get to this point, see Connecting the M5900 to Your PC
On your PC you should see the communications dialog:

On you M5900 you should see the communications window:

Once the trasfer is complete, the device will unpack your program and install it into the M5900 filesystem.

Press any key on your device to continue.
On your PC, unless you have set a location to save to in the Capture file's Advanced tab, you may get a dialog like the following.
Set the File name to save your Capture File as and then hit Save.

You can now open the file you just saved in MS Excel, MS Access, Notepad, or import it into any database system that can bulk import a CSV file.
