In the tool box, is the Box Tool.



If you Click and drag a box onto a screen, you will see the following:

       


After selecting a box that has been dragged onto the screen,

the properties panel will display the box's properties:


Display Properties

FillStyle - None, Space, PoundSign, Period, Colon, Minus, Plus, Asterisk, LightBlock, MediumBlock, DarkBlock, SolidBlock

ReverseVideo - if False, display black text on white background, if True then display white text on black background

Style - SingleLine, DoubleLine, ThickLine, LightBox, MediumBox, DarkBox, SolidBox

Visisble - if False, do not let the user see this field

Identifiers

ID - Read only object identifier

Name - User specified name of this object

Position and Size

Location - Upper left corner position of this object

X - Left side position of this object

Y - Top side position of this object

Size - This object spans Width spaces to the right and Height spaces down on the screen

Width - This object spans Width horizontal spaces on the screen

Height - This object spans Height vertical spaces on the screen



Additional Notes:

Boxes come in 7 types: SingleLine, DoubleLine, ThickLine, LightBox, MediumBox, DarkBox, SolidBox.


You can drag and drop your Box anywhere on the screen. 


You can resize your Box by clicking and dragging the red border surrounding it or directly modifying the Location and Size properties.


Boxes like Static Text and Graphical Characters do not show up in the TreeView.



Boxes on the designer screen to not appear exactly as they do on the M5900.
