Designed with today's cost-conscious retailer in mind, the new AML KDT750 is a user-friendly, full-feature price verification system that delivers outstanding functional value in a compact, space-saving footprint. Featuring simple touch screen navigation and a 5.6" full VGA color display, the KDT750 allows retailers to display colorful graphics and messages that will engage customers and enhance the shopping experience - right at the point of purchase. Customers can use the AML KDT750 to check prices by simply scanning product bar code labels - freeing store employees for more critical, bottom line activities.

Equipped primarily to function as a price checker, the AML KDT750 Price Verification System comes standard with an on-board price verification program. Product documentation provides sample source code for the server-side software required to interface to the KDT750, as well as perform the lookups necessary to retrieve price and descriptive information from the user's database. Additional standard features include Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), user-definable keys, and multiple USB and serial ports. Optional 802.11b/g/n WLAN radio technology supports wireless network connectivity.

The AML KDT750 features a full range of functional accessories and mounting options that allow users to configure the device to fit specific application requirements. Options include magnetic stripe reader, HID proximity card reader, internal backup battery, and 1D or omni-directional 2D bar code reader. The AML KDT750 can be fitted with the top-mount, Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) kit and configured as a payment kiosk or a time and attendance input device. The MSR will read up to 3 tracks of magnetic stripe card data and supports bi-directional swipe reading. Superior reading of high jitter, scratched and worn magnetic stripe cards. KDT750 Pole Mount KDT750 Pole Mount
The KDT750 Pole Mount Bracket is a non-destructive mounting solution for existing round structural or aesthetic posts and poles. Utilizing nylon or steel straps, the KDT750 can be mounted to poles ranging in size from 4 to 24 inches in diameter. The ideal pole diameter for the bracket ranges from 6 to 16 inches. Ideal for price checking applications, the optional Angled Wall Bracket hard mounts the KDT750 to any flat surface at a 20-degree angle. The bracket attaches to the KDT750's rear panel via four stainless steel studs and nuts.

Each AML KDT750 includes the AML Price Lookup Protocol (APL). APL is designed to simplify communications between price checking clients and database servers. Compared to other verification protocols, APL significantly reduces the complexity of the server side software by limiting the client-server command set to only the necessary instructions. By simplifying the protocol down to only the bare necessities, integration time is drastically reduced.

To allow for easy integration into existing environments and to give the maximum functionality to AML price checking systems, APL supports the following two high-level communication protocol methods:
